FOR PATIENTS

Appointments

All bookings require a referral from a medical practitioner.

X-Rays
Please call or email to book an appointment. We do accept walk-ins for emergencies.

Ultrasounds
For an Ultrasound, you will need an appointment and we require a copy of your referral prior to your appointment.

Before you arrive:
If we don’t have a copy of your referral already, please make sure you bring this with you. For safety reasons and by law we will not be able to perform your procedure on the day if there is no referral form.

If you have been referred to us via the funded path, we will already have your referral on file.

Ultrasound appointments you need to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time, so we have plenty of time to get you ready for your procedure and you may have two support people accompany you.
We ask that if you have children with you, that you ensure they have adult supervision where possible.
If you have Covid or flu-like symptoms, please do not come to your appointment.  Please call us to advise that you will not be coming in and reschedule your appointment.  For further guidance, please refer to the current Ministry of Health guidelines.

When you are at the clinic:
If you need to use your phone for calls, please do so by popping outside the clinic. No phones on speaker please as our premises are very small and noise does travel making it hard for staff to hear.
Before you undergo any medical procedure, please let our clinical staff know if you are pregnant.
Once your procedure is completed, our Radiologist in Hamilton will report their findings directly to the medical professional who referred you to us.  If you would like a copy of our report sent to any other medical professional, please let us know and we will happily accommodate your request.
